so, when i got some building work done a couple of years ago the builder told me to go to this website and they basically tell you where the gas and leccy lines are, drainage pipes are.............pretty much everything thats underground so who dont feck up your entire street :lol1:
anyway does anyone know the name of the site as ive forgot it and would like some more work done ps the builder fella that told me is dead so i cant ask him..................natural causes before anyone asks :thumb: |
Whereabouts are you based? A lot of the utilities change there mapping systems regularly, for example western power (electric for most the midlands) use a system called linesearchbeforeudig which checks for their infrastructure plus a few select others (mainly private comms). To add, pretty much all the water boards now charge around £20 for a copy of their maps |
And even then you need to Cat it out, as the maps are a rough guess.
