Yeah was going to say about the thread above from last wk, sounds like a YUASA battery is a good option, alway gone for a bosch one myself.

Yeah I bought a Bosch but was disappointed at battery going flat after a few weeks in garage. So went for budget next and that was loads worse and then packed in.
They've recommend these batteries. There are two batteries recommended for the vehicle, see below for details. Hankook MF56068 - Ebay item number: 272484304247 Or Varta D47 - Ebay item number: 282285254185 |
Yeah jaygsi I've the same problem with the bosch battery on mine to be fair but put it down the car sitting about unused for a few wks at a time, can normally get away with 2-3 wks but any longer then that and its flat

Yuasa for me.(5005 for classic)

If you have an alarm with battery back up or tracker these will use power when not in use, and even quicker if the batteries within them are knackered,
if you look most people have the same kind of issues after a few weeks, so not sure what another new battery will really achieve tbh, this is why people fit conditioners and trickle chargers. |
Drives me mad, it's a. Nice day decide take scooby out and flat as a pancake.

Any battery, but keep it on a trickle charger

If you don't have electric at the car, what about one of the starter packs, or the cheap battery you're taking off, charged at home and some jump leads?
|
Shouldn't need one, my cousin left his new Corsa at mine for 6 months. Came to collect started no problem. I'm guessing its my alarm system. Although its turned off has immobiliser that kicks in on its own.
