Been forced to communicate with elderly mother abroad through Apple stuff since better off sister, who lives down the road from her, has decided this is only way wont catch virus :rolleyes:. So Skype or Playbook is all too difficult now, passwords forgotten ( thanks apple )
I'm not going buy damn iPad, I'd just like know if you can actually get more than one person on screen at a time with one?

Hold the iPad or Phone further away or turn it sideways.

I could control Skype camera with remote and speak to it from other side room, it's really not so good with 4 " phone and then there's people wanting to call on it as well . Playbook gave superfluous audio no matter what

but I guess this is only solution

So it's Apple's fault that you forgot your Skype password and can't be bothered to reset it?

Its my mother thats forgotten password ! and seems be impossible ge it back ,and my sis for convincing her apple is the only way.
Sis and bro in law came over few years ago especially buy up all apple system

Skype sold out to microsoft years ago, nothing at all to do with apple.

Yep , and then took it off my tv.

Works through adroid box/my skype camera - but this and resetting paswords is difficult for older person


microsoft took it off tv's cos tablets , the personal experience, is apparenly more important

You can do it, just enter their email address, Skype name or phone number.

I did try it for her , and that might been problem - security alert /locked out, through safari on her macbook. ( this is macbook handed down to her by sister and cannot be wiped of her ownership, still)

But I don't think she has actually downloaded Skype app to iPad . Not actually sure she's opened app store since sister bought it for her in the autumn

3) Telephone your mother with any telephone equipment you chose

4) Repeat point 3 above as required.

Do i really have to support apple by paying out 50 quid ( + hdmi cable ) to connect up my iphone to tv

or will a 15 quid copy work ok

its for Zwift app btw , nothing else
