Off to Geneva Motor Show
Never ventured further than the NEC for car shows but been invited to go. Important info required :-
1. Can I take a bottle of alcohol on the plane in my hand luggage for my hotel room.lol 2. Is it any good and what else can you do in Geneva? Good restaurants bars etc 3. Is it any better than the car shows we used to have here once upon a time? 4. Is it expensive? How much cash for a Friday night meal then evening out on the Saturday after the show? Thanks:thumb: |
Is Geneva expensive?! Yeah just a bit :lol1: But it’s a beautiful place and you will want to go again.

Take a bottle with you, and it will be confiscated.
Buy it air-side and you're fine. |
Let's just hope they don't have any pretty girls next to the cars spoiling the fun

I've always wanted to go to the Geneva show.
They always seem to launch more top-of-range and interesting cars there. Every year when it comes round I say I'm going to go next year. Yes, Geneva is expensive. And very clean. |
Report back on all the latest electric cars please

Thanks:thumb: Switzerland is serously, seriously expensive for food and drink so be prepared. |
One of the guys who I’m going with beginning of March went 2yrs ago and he spent £330 over 3 days and that included drinking every night and food etc. He did a bit of research with cheaper bars etc so it can be done on a little budget. Luckily I’m going with him this time and he remembers where the cheaper bars are! ;) |
