2 post vs 4 post ramps

im guessing a few guys on here would have lifts/ramps? if so what did you opt for? a 2 or 4 poster?

I went for 2 post (from Automotech services).
4 post can make some tasks that bit morr awkward.
Cheers

I have the choice of using both: 2 post every time.

4 post gets in the way, although the ramps make handy shelves to dump stuff on and sill repairs on jacking points can be easier . ;) The only time I opt for the 4 post is for a quick oil change (without undertrays) and visual inspection.

The crucial thing is making sure the lifting arms sit low enough to clear the side skirts whilst the lifting pads screw up high enough to reach the jacking points before the arms crush the skirts when lifting. Something of a issue on our old Stenhoj with GC8 Imprezas (especially when lowered) and 4x4s with tw4t bars (that's what I call them as it makes my job so much more harder, but they are usually called side bars ;) :lol1: ).
