Hi dude, I have the original Litchfield warranty log book which has a copy of the reciept of warranty. The numbered plaques came on later models. None issued on the 2003 or 2004 models as far as I am aware.

Folder full of receipts and work done to the car when Litchfield used power engineering for work on their cars and also when they serviced the car and subsequently all the work carried out by Brian Downie who can also vouch for it 👍

planes, trains, bus or take the car and make a weekend of it .. there's lots of ways to get to it if you really want it.

I travelled from Burton on Trent to almost Peterhead to view a car I bought, but I had lots of chats with the owner / photos and the like, so I knew before I went that it was the car for me. Distance is a relative these days - you can fly from East Midlands to Aberdeen and back in the day. And if you're spending 12-13k on a car then a couple of hundred isn't much to fork out.

I can vouch for worth travelling for right car, I sold a car to someone from Scotland a few years ago, met them at Birmingham airport and they drove back home, pretty easy transaction. Just need an honest buyer and seller so you know what you are getting.
No one knows the faults on a car like the owner and if they are honest it’s easy to decide if the trip is worth the risk.

wilki 27 February 2018 11:55 AM

I know Aberdeen is a bit of a distance away from the usual car, but for any potential buyers out there I am happy to travel down to fife area as an added incentive for anyone. Should chop of 4 hours journey time (Approximately). My folks are from down that way so for serious offers I am happy to do that.

Thanks for all the comments so far

But you do not know my circumstances so maybe keeping your comments to yourself might be a good idea.:wonder:
