95 WRX Not holding boost misfiring
 
Hi folks cars not running well,My95 wrx (mapped)not holding boost also feels very slow,then after maybe 20 mins driving it starts misfiring,checked for boost leaks as best I can and can’t find any,ordered spark plugs fuel filter going to put those in when they arrive,is there anything else I can check in the meantime to see if I can get it sorted.

Hmm, i was going to say check the coil sticks bu ti see you have the newage coil stick conversion.

My misfire turned out to be corrosion in the engine harness connectors, somehow water has entered the connector and rotted a couple of the pins, it was the brown one near the recirculating pump on my Hawkeye that had the issue
