jacking up the impreza via the rear diff....safe or not?

is it safe to jack the impreza up via the rear diff? im looking at getting some underbody treatment done by a mobile guy and the pics on his website show cars being lifted via the rear diff and on 2 x front axle stands to allow him access.

The rear diff the actual jacking point your only really supposed to use the sills when changing tyres or on a lift.

Lifting via diff, then on to axle stands is the way i get it up :D.

(usually use block of wood to cushion against diff)

it saves the sills from getting damaged.
