Front 4 pot brake caliper casting bolt torque please?
Hi All,
Thanks in advance for any replies. 2.5 wrx hawkeye wagon. Front calipers are OEM sumitomo 4 pots smooth with white SUBARU decal. Just stripped down & rebuilt my front calipers with new pistons & seals. Trying to find the toque for the 4 x M10 by 1.25 mm pitch bolts that hold the 2 caliper half’s together (the casting bolts). Can’t find it anywhere . Anyone know the torque?:wonder: CheersPaul :thumb: |

The rebuilt calipers are spot on with no fluid leaks. Cheers Paul :thumb: |
Yeah not much info on the bolt torque that joins calipers tigether just refurbed mine , I used 80nm on mine as it seemed a good setting |
Godspeed posted on a thread a while back about the torque setting when I was rebuilding my rears. Can't remember what it was though but I know that I couldn't tighten them fully without being bolted to the car first.
