Hi All,

I have a 2003 Blobeye STI (Was a WRX but has a full STI conversion.

Anyway, i stupidly bought a new thermostat from Euros as this one is faulty, just removed mine from the STI engine and its shorter than the one Euros supplied.

I put in my reg forgetting it has STI running gear.
but just checked and a WRX one is the same part number.

So are they different or have Euros just picked the wrong one off the shelf?

I think one on the right is a better stat i had the left one and it jammed pin slipped out

It'll be spot on as long as its diameter is the same just different design.

Do you have an STi engine fitted?

Just got one for my car from ICP. Looks identical to the one on the right.
