At the 4 pin plug (loom side) the fuel pump is Black and White, Fuel level sender units Green/white and Brown/white

Is the black and white the 12v feed? I’ve heard these fpc use the earth to trigger it on and off?

As I've stated - 4 wires Black, White, Green/white and Brown/white
The fuel pump uses the Black (earth) and White (12v) although they both go through the fuel pump control unit, so checking with a multimeter would be advantageous.

The Bosch 44 on my blobeye is wired direct to the fuel pump control unit via a fused 30amp relay.
Using Don's diagram, from FPCU:- connection *2, wired to relay point No85, connection BW wired to relay point 86. From recollection and it 4 years now, both wire's were Black/White. The other relay points were wired, No 30 to battery, No 87 to Bosch44.
Hope this helps, it was a while ago and on a different car but Don's diagram looks relevant to me.

We’re abouts is the pump controller ive read it’s in the boot?
and does the different duty cycles still work threw a relay, or will it just run flat out?

on my blobeye the controller is inside the offside rear wing, access from inside the boot behind the side panel. It must be similar for hawkeye but can't be certain. The duty cycle is then controlled and is the same as the tank pump, switches on and off just the same. The Bosch then gets it's power safely direct from the battery via relay but the two pumps work together, the tank pump acting as a lift pump to the swirlpot and that feeding the external pump.

Thanks very much, just wasn’t sure if the normal relay would be able to flick on and off quick enough
