Its a high volume code.
Doesn't necessarily need replaced but you've not given much information.

What mods have you fitted to the car. Is it mapped, Have you fitted anything recently ?

Engine-Codes OBDII
Code List P0103 SUBARU
P0103 SUBARU -

Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit High Input
Possible causes
Faulty mass air flow sensor
Intake air leaks Dirty mass air flow sensor
Dirty mass air filter
Mass air flow sensor harness is open or shorted
Mass air flow sensor circuit poor electrical connection
What does this mean?
Tech notes Before replacing the mass air flow sensor, try replacing the air filter and cleaning the air flow sensor with low compress air or mass air flow sensor cleaner.
Reset code and drive vehicle. If the code comes back, it may be necessary to replaced the mass air flow sensor.
What does this mean?
When is the code detected?
An excessively high voltage from the sensor is sent to Engine Control Module (ECM). Possible symptoms Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) Engine stall Engine running rough Excessive fuel consumption Excessive smoke

However the above issues may be due to a remapping to gain extra BHP..

Use an electrical no residue cleaner, not brake cleaner.

Carb cleaner not sure, I use electrical cleaner to be safe on sensitive things like a MAF.

I'd bin the HKS filter and replace with a better filter. One of the lads got through 4 maf sensor in a weekend whilst running one of these

But that was before you increased the demand to the engine with the remap.

It's a dry bitty filter... little bits break off and can damage the maf especially after upping the boost
