I just bought the car and the garage said they would put a spare wheel in it before i collected as I noticed there was not one in there...

Stupidly i did not check when i picked it up as it slipped my mind.... but turns out they did not put a spare wheel in...

Is what it is, got another set of STI alloys coming next week that will be going on while I refurbish these ones and replace the Tyres all round

Have a look for North East Subaru Owners Club on Facebook and also North East Flat 4. They might be able to help you out

Im sorted now, it was just cause it was New Years Eve and no mobile tyre fitters were open. Got one coming on Thursday to replace all 4 while I am down south

Would the spare wheel have done you any good though? As the standard spare wheel is designed for 15" wheels not 17" which looks like you have. Would the diff cope running 2 different size wheels?

yes as long as same outer rolling radius

for future reference we are based just off the A1M at the Angel in Birtley

So as long as the spare wheel fitted to passenger side/near side, diff will be ok?

its got nothing to do with which side you fit it??

your spare wheel is only useable if it has the same overall diameter as the wheels already on the car
