Anyone read it ? Any good ? He's a talented bloke but comes across as DULL.

Yep I read it
I borrowed it off a mate, its a pretty good read all about how he got into rallying etc, his big crash in wherever it was, corsica i think, Overall yeah i really liked it but it mite be a bit bland for other people. Rich |
I was a little dissapointed. I'm a big fan of his car control and was hoping for more of an insight into his driving. It might just be this that put me off, but whilst there was definitely some good stuff about him and his life, i felt that the majority of it was just a chronology of his career.
Definitely glad I read it, but was a little dissapointed. Cheers Simon |
Get it everytime hes in the pub :(

Question is, has he sobered up from Lanimers week?http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/guin.gif

I thought it was a good read. He pretty much says that his drivin is a natural thing, bugger it all....hard to learn!!!
|
I thought it was a good read for any rally or Colin McRae fan, others may find it a bit boring.
I really enjoyed the book myself. :) Lee |
Its all right I suppose 5/10. Not really enough insight (as Simon says) into his driving style, how he learnt it etc so IMO a bit lightweight.
And what the hell is that last chapter about!!?!! (The season so far) Talk about page filling :( Richard |
Have to agree it wasn't the best book in the world.
Very much then i drove this rally, and then i drove another, then i drove another and crashed.. :( Reading Charles Bronson now, what a nutter, very entertaining. :D Is this BBS turning in to readers digest now...?? |
Burns book is better.
|
whats the title of Burns book???
Must order it..... If you have the publishing house that would be great too!!!!! |
