too many lol.

iMook 22 December 2017 11:56 AM

Do they all have the Prodrive machined out of them or (based on some of the plates in your pics) can you supply them with STi machined out, or is that a plate that bolts on?

Cheers :thumb:

silver sonic 22 December 2017 12:19 PM

I have ones with prodrive machined out. and plain ones that you can leave plain or with stainless steel wr1 or sti plate to fit to face.

Out of interest what does the whole kit weigh ?

Not that I’m running a F1 car but it all adds up.

So will these fit a 5 speed hawk wrx with the supplied brackets

silver sonic 27 January 2018 05:15 PM

not with the brackets supplied they are designed for the 6 speed. but its just the rear bracket that is different I believe as the bolts on back of diff are closer together.

no brackets fitted like a glove ! was off a 6speed and was thinkg the bracket would need altering but no just fitted perfect on my RB5 5 speed

SpecCTypeRA 28 January 2018 11:26 PM

fitted mine today on a R180 diff - doesn't look bad at all, just trimmed 5mm off the middle rear allen head bolt so it doesn't rub against the drain plug casting.

yeah easy when you have a steady hand ,, not so easy when you have hands like mine lol

will post pics of mine when its done :thumb::thumb:

very happy with it though thanks :D:D

ted bass 06 February 2018 07:00 PM

Any chance you can lay your hands on the bolt pattern for a 5 speed newage diff and fabricate the brackets to match fella? that kinda thing is beyond me, have enough bother doing a 6 piece jigsaw lol would snap one up if that was the case coz they look as good as the genuine ones once their painted/lacquered:thumb:

best way is a hypodermic syringe. but I just filled with paint using kids paintbrush then polish face with wet and dry and then autosol.
don't worry about overpaint on face as polish flat with wet and dry.
