Front / rear brake compatibility question

Hello all.
it may seem a strange question. I would like to find out if any rear calipers and discs will fit the front hubs of my 55 reg 2006 wrx 2.5.
I am building a kit car and will be mounting the engine in the middle of the car. All of the front suspension and hubs will then become the rear. And I need a handbrake solution to make it road legal.
thanks in advance.

You would need to mount the back plate for the hand brake shoes. I think that would be the most difficult part. The shape and physical size of the front hubs wouldn't lend well to this without substantial fabrication.
I think using the trailing arm set up on the rear would be an easier option.

How are you doing the gear linkage?

Using front hubs on the back is awkward, it's easier to use rear hubs/brakes/park brake. The tricky bit of doing that is the driveshafts, however they are easy to disassemble and swap UJ's which you might get away with.
How much power will you be trying to put down?
