i had japspeed downpipes on both my previous imprezas (wrx @ 354bhp + sti @ 440bhp) both blobeyes and fitment was perfect, i didnt use the supplied gaskets instead i used genuine gaskets from rcm.

in my opinion for the money you cant go wrong :thumb:

£150 don't seem bad as opposed to £300! mine will be running over 400bhp hopefully so this will do the trick.

did you have the catted version? If so, any problems with emissions at MOT time?

Had one of these bout 6years ago on the bug for a few months...

Steering knuckle was hitting downpipe on fitment also not angled proper to mate to the turbo so took longer to modify to fit what a ball ache
then after few months the weld broke from the flange! and a big hole where the metal was too thin on the exhaust near the flange that joins to the turbo side it couldn’t hack the pops and bangs

Binned it put a blitz downpipe on no more problems after that :luxhello:

Maybe they have come along way since then.... maybe but I stay away from any item that ends in speed :lol1: but that’s just me lesson learnt
