No Front Camber Alignment on 2015 Impreza?
Went to my mechanic to get my first alignment for my 2015 Impreza (regular Impreza, no mods) and he said my front left camber is off, but that there's no front camber adjustment on this car. I'm a newb but this sounded odd to me, can anyone help? Mechanic said he's going to adjust it by drilling or machining down something or other, it's just beyond my scope of knowledge. Am I getting hosed or is this legit?
Thanks in advance! |
I'm pretty sure the camber is adjustable via the two lower bolts that mount the strut to the hub, as it is on the newages.
I guess if there is no adjustment on the 2015 he's going to enlarge one of these holes on the strut to allow for adjustment. |

The following is for the WRX/WRX STi but same principle applies although settings may be different MY15 front camber.pdf Eccentric bolt part number 901660039 http://www.heubergersubaruparts.com/...7386-47502.htm |
OEM camber bolts are in the front top clevis only in the newage.
You can put aftermarket camber bolts in the lower holes to get more adjustment and of course top and bottom in the rears. Trev |
