I really fancy GT with PSVR as I have a wheel and pedals etc but I don't even own a PS4 so the outlay would be over £600 in one hit which is crazy.
I fancy trying something cheaper first, are the Samsung Gear VR sets any good? I'm put off by the fact there probably isn't anything great being just android/mobile games and it will look a bit crap? |
GT on PSVR is very limited, you can only race against one AI car.

Agreed, it can get really expensive though. I didn't have a PS4 or anything to start with and spent over $1000 on stuff. I know I was not super far off what it would cost for Vive or Oculus but I wanted something easily accessible etc. Doom VFR - pretty cool so far Rush of Blood - on rails shooter that gives some good scares and is a bit of fun Skyrim - graphics reduce in quality a bit due to the lesser processing power of the PS4 but it's still awesome and great to be in open world with full VR Resident Evil 7 - F@ckin terrifying and great fun. I love this game in VR, makes a huge difference. What was a pretty scary game is now pant-sh1ttingly good (worst thing was also when my wife decided to grab my arm as it was being cut off in-game, nearly had an actual heart attack). I've got WipeOut Omega and apparently that is being upgraded to full VR soon - I have not had VR sickness yet but I imagine this will be the one to make me spew. |

Yeah, it's pretty cool none the less. Bought it since was last on this thread and it's kinda fun to see how well they recreated the inside of the car. Naturally checking mirrors etc. is pretty cool, too. It's a bit of a gimmick for this game but still enoyable.

ive got both Skyrim and resident evil and they are awesome!. Haven’t played the extra content that I downloaded for resident evil yet though. So many jump-scares in Resi 7. It's like watching a horror movie times 11, lol. My wife's words the other day "I'm gonna be so embarrassed if you have a heart attack and I have to say that playing Resident Evil on your Playstation killed you" :lol1::lol1: |
