Hi pulling my hair out here on fitment I have the sf5 forester but can use gc8 parts would this hks fit as unsure on the maf sensor

no, it wont fit.

Standard airbox is fine up to 400bhp so unless you like replacing mafs on a regular basis stick with a decent panel filter
