Newbie WRX front pads help

Hi there,

Im new to scoobynet and have just picked up a wrx with sti running gear and vf35 turbo running approx 300bhp. Eventually I plan to upgrade the braking system to an sti spec but currently it has the standard calipers fitted as I have just had the cambelt kit and water pump done so funds are low. Am I right in thinking these are 4 pot calipers? I need some pads pretty soon and was looking at a set of ferodos just wondered if they will fit, there code is fdb1982,

Cheers Ian.

Thanks for your reply pal, I emailed this every same seller and they said I needed a different pad yet on ferodos website they also say this fdb1982 pad fits so that's why I was unsure. Any other pad recommendations for the wrx calipers from people's experience?
Thanks

Thanks for the reply, that's what it says on ferodos website that they are compatible but when I contacted this seller earlier today they send they wouldn't fit, hence my confusion? Out of interest fo any people on hear offer good pads for the wrx calipers that people can recommend, don't want to spend a fortune as the brake upgrade will be happening as soon as I can get the funds for a decent set. Cheers

I'd look at Godspeed mate, https://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/

Plenty of pad options, but given that you're swapping out the 4 pots soon may want to stick to something like the Ferodo's.

Pending how long the time frame is till you're swapping them out and what you're using it for in the meantime too etc.

Go to the Ferodo website and input your car details to check for correct part
