Impreza sport - loud knocking

Hi all, new to this forum and far from a mechanic so apologies if this is in the wrong area!

So basically I have a 1996 impreza wagon sport non turbo. It currently has a horrible knocking noise coming from what I can only describe as below the gear stick area, maybe further up im not sure. It makes the noise when starting, when pulling off up to around 15-20mph, and then 15-20mph back down to 0mph. Not sure if this is a common problem or maybe something silly but any info would be much appreciated! I have uploaded a video to youtube with the link below so the noise can be heard by yourself, if you would like to help!

Thanks in advance, Joe

Sounds like the exhaust vibrating against something to me!!

I think one bushing broke, and you are at low speed/rev... the low frequency vibrations have quite a lot of amplitude and the pipe is banging the car.

Already had this on one car.

Have a look underneath, try to push/pull on exhaust in all directions
