Gauge pillar pod wiring

Hi stupid question but I’ve got a boot gauge on a pillar pod the boost side is sorted but where is the best place to wire in coming from there as the wire isn’t very long at all
Has one yellow and one black wire for the illuminations

Thanks in advance

Extend the wires by soldering and heat shrinking.

Then go to either the lighting switch, or the clock, or the hazards switch.

One of these makes finding the correct live wire simple:

I recently installed a boost gauge and used an "add a circuit", search for it on ebay. Very tidy and safe.
Also to make things easy, scratch some paint off the inside of your A pillar and tape the negative wire to it.

Not at all, so long as it's bare metal it'll complete the circuit. With the "add a circuit" it's fused also.

Tape a wire to bare metal and hope for the best?

Way to go....burnt out car here we come.

FFS don't do this, find a proper earth.
