Rocker gasket

This is leaking on my 2003 blobeye wagon.

Anything else i should fix at the same time? Plugs maybe?

Can you point me to the kit?

Cheers

get the kit from import car parts

you need 8 of these

https://www.importcarparts.co.uk/par...y=&searchPart=

left side

https://www.importcarparts.co.uk/par...y=&searchPart=

right side

https://www.importcarparts.co.uk/par...y=&searchPart=

maybe drop him an email as it says out of stock, failing that try rcm or grahamgoode or as-performance

as you say may aswell change plugs whilst your there

If one is going then the other side probably isn't far behind.
Speak to ICP, when I did mine they did a complete kit with all the gaskets (about £45 per side).
The plugs do have to come out so if they're getting on it wouldn't be any extra hassle to do them.
It also makes access easier if you take out the airbox and battery.

i had both sides done on my bug sti. be careful with the bolts as they only tighten so far then you will round off the threads if you over tighten them.

Been there done that on the 2 Marina's I owned, just added a smear of gasket sealant to hold it in the rocker cover and seal to the head. :lol1::lol1:

You're probably old enough to remember hermatite red then, great stuff you could always spot a botched engine by the orange gunk.

Funnily enough I have just scraped off the remains of an old cork gasket from the rocker covers on my Isetta engine.

Aye, I've had it 10 years, it's been in the family since the early 90s and was supposed to be restored for me to drive when I was 17...might be back on the road next year! (Although I said that last year, and the year before, etc)
:Whatever_:brickwall:cry:
