P1 in France
Here is my beloved P1, the 0694/1000.
Bought on ebay last weekend from Doncaster UK. First stop at the gas station https://i.pinimg.com/564x/87/c3/88/8...d17241ad34.jpg Waiting at Folkstone https://i.pinimg.com/564x/07/71/ac/0...2ffa34f8e1.jpg In the train https://i.pinimg.com/564x/b3/e6/f8/b...ccce89f96b.jpg In Lyon, France. https://i.pinimg.com/564x/9f/9c/c0/9...c278753e6b.jpg |
Welcome. Very nice.
What have you done about the lower octane fuel in France? I visit near Lyon every winter, on my way to Maurienne |
I used gasoline in the gas station with SP98+, and in case of emergency I have a can of octane booster.
The Best are : -Total -Esso -BP |
BP is a no no in uk, imprezas allegedly don't like it. If your P1 was mapped for Shell nitro ( higher octane in uk than France) or Tescos 99 here, it may not like any of your choices. My blobeye didn't like total or esso in France.

as above will need the map looked at for the fuel, could easily fry the engine if its wrong so take it easy and keep it off boost till its looked at.

nice P1, that was for sale on Ebay
there are quite a few P1's in France now (5 or 6 anyway) keep the pictures coming :luxhello: |
Very nice
I had to do a double take on the number plate, very close to mine! :thumb: |
Another vote for having it mapped for 98 octane.
All octane boosters are NOT alike, and it would be a shame to knacker that engine. |
I want to keep it in original condition, so I am looking for an original exhaust muffler.
Not easy to find, I saw the prodrive that looks like it is engraved prodrive instead of P1. If anyone sees or know one for sale, please tell me. |
Hello there,
We are neighbors as I'm in Saint Priest, very close to Lyon. Hope to see you and see your wonderful P1 !!! |
Looks very nice.
