Asus Zenpad Z300M

Thinking of having one of these for use around the house in France. (And here).

Main reason: limited internet means using the phone results in it using up my allowance on updates.

Will one of these do the same, or can I, like on a laptop, tell it not to update?

Well its android, so surely you can just turn off OTA updates.

it does appear you can get android 7 on Z3 compact
