Will evo 8 turini's fit a widetrack

just wanted to know if i wont have any issues with the center bore or anything else. they are 18 x 8j with a et35 will they fit over brembos and would i need longer bolts or anything else??

ZANY 15 September 2017 12:57 PM

Evos come with brembo's aswell I think

Should be straight on I reckon

BBB3 15 September 2017 02:39 PM

will look well on a widetrack

Wull 17 September 2017 10:49 PM

Different cb size. You'll need spigot rings to fit the Evo 8 wheels.

56.1 > 67.1

That should be 67.1>56.1

There's online shops that can supply spigot rings of most if not all siz s.

The CB of the Evo 8 is 67.1 and the Impreza is 56.1

The current wheelnuts you have will be fine and should do the trick, only difference between the Evo and Impreza nuts is the pitch but as you are fitting the Evo wheels to the Scooby you can just use the existing nuts.

BrownPantsRacing 19 September 2017 08:40 AM

Makes no difference at all. I've used plastic spigot rings for the last 10 years with no issues at all.

Have you used these exact ones?
any lug nuts you could recommend me too?

BrownPantsRacing 19 September 2017 01:00 PM

No, haven't got those exact ones. Purchased mine from the seller in the link below. But are essentially the same thing.

not too sure if i would? Just wanted to make sure when i put them on everything is right

BrownPantsRacing 19 September 2017 02:07 PM

As they age, your nuts will generally get longer anyhow. So don't worry too much.

Put the wheel on using the nuts you have, do them up correctly. If the wheel wobbles, take it off again and buy longer nuts.

I'd be amazed if you need longer nuts.

You got saggy nuts bro :lol1:

BrownPantsRacing 19 September 2017 03:08 PM

Not speaking from experience I should add. :D

nufctoon 19 September 2017 03:57 PM

LOL! Thanks for the advice on my ageing long nuts much appreciated

BrownPantsRacing 19 September 2017 04:13 PM

Only get concerned if your ball joints are longer than your dipstick!

nufctoon 04 October 2017 11:39 PM

Right what sized tyres would be best?

ZANY 05 October 2017 07:02 AM

235 40 18

BrownPantsRacing 05 October 2017 08:56 AM

225/40/18 as you may get rubbing with a 235 tyre and need to roll your arches.

nufctoon 05 October 2017 03:37 PM

225 part how wide they are? And a 45 profile be too thick?

ZANY 05 October 2017 03:46 PM

Update:
Just gone out to check on mine and they are 225 40 18 thought they were 235 :wonder:
my apologies and they are 8.75j wide so would be bang on for 8j drive is perfect no rubbing no arch mods sat on pink sti adj legs might be good weather 2moz I'll put pick up now it's sat proper :)

nufctoon 06 October 2017 03:25 AM
