Which type of down pipe on a blob wrx

Looking at new down pipes from my 05 wrx . which has the 2 part down pipe/cat. Is it best to replace with a single part down pipe or stick with the 2 part idea?

if you stick with the 2part downpipe it means you can more easily swap the rear/lower section for the original catted version for MOT purposes (only 4 bolts under the car vs having to swap the whole downpipe off) so I'd say it depends how friendly you are with your MOT shop.

That was my thinking Do you know if its the same as hawk bits? apart from them prob being twin scroll set up

hawk bits aren't twinscroll unless it's a JDM hawk though - I had a PPP sports cat and 2nd cat delete from a blob STI on my hawk so yeh interchangeable.

that's good as I can only seam to find bits that are labled as 08+

bludgod 10 September 2017 08:54 PM

08+ is hatchacks so they won't do
