new to subaru wont fire up
95 impreza 3j22 engine. car has been hacked prior, had wrong intake on (electric throttle body etc) i swapped it all back to the original manifold. i didnt connect most of the vac solenoids etc due to wanting to verify the engine runs. but the tps, iac, ckp and amp are all connected. the engine will not spark WHILE cranking but right after the start position is released i get a spark. was even timmed good enough once when letting off key to allow about a 5 second idle. i have tried starting it by jumping the starter while the key is in the on position, same result. i have also tried 3 different ignitors. new plugs and wires. where should i be looking for this symptom? i tested for spark with spark tester and only saw spark once the key was released from the start position.
