6 speed box, ACT Clutch issues

Evening all,

So I had a UK STI 6 speed and ACT Paddle clutch fitted to my car a couple of years back.

For the first 1,000 miles or so it was okay, but then it delevloped issues as follows -

1. When sat at lights, in gear, foot on clutch fully. The car will sometimes start to creep forward and is very difficult to pull back out of gear.

2. When downchanging you have to blip the throttle to get it into gear

3. Changing gear in general can be a chew

All in all. It became pig to drive, and the main reason the car has become redundant over the last couple of years.

When the clutch and box was fitted the guys did say they were having difficulty getting it to clear, but was okay for a short period of time.

Anyone had a similar problem with this set up?

As far as I am aware it is running a 6speed flywheel and it has had the master cylinder changed. There doesn't appear to be any leaks in the fluid.

Frustrating and I will attempt to pull it all apart when it goes for its MOT, if we can't find a solution!

Any ideas please?

Thanks! Rob

Needs bled properly.

I would start by bleeding, subaru clutches are a bstard to bleed. Easiest way I have found is by using a vacuum bleed tool.
After that youre gonna be thinking about taking the clutch out for inspection.

Thanks chaps, as far as I am aware it has had a bleed but I will go again before we get in too heavy!
