In addition to the current trend to serve food on anything or there than what you would expect. The other thing that boils my p!ss, deconstructed drinks.

Recently went into a well known U.K. Chain Italian and after we had eaten my wife asked for a hot chocolate. We waiting 25 minutes for a sodding diy hot chocolate, which was missing the key ingredient chocolate as it was still being shaved from a block.

Agree. If I order a hot drink I expect exactly what I have ordered to be given to me in a suitable container. If I have to make it myself, I expect a discount.
