nievely I thought ICP did only genuine subaru items. I didn't double check and just ordered. It was only when someone shared some that were more expensive that I noticed the word genuine.

get rid of RPX pads for pagid rs14 supplied by alyn asperformance
my winter black chrome alloys are shot by dust from RPX pads refreshed front calipers and summer wheels on with new nuts Update regarding rs14 pads, yes less and non sticky dust, perform very good when cold now even better with fuji bbk. Think main issue on RPX pads is bond they used , when hot it welds to an alloys and is so hard to remove. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...a091006a2c.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...4704791a54.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...48fee8ad8d.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...22493250df.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...359feee008.jpg |
My AP six pots faded like yours despite having the super duper brake fluid resistant coating, i like you polished them back up to a shine but it always bloomed again remininicent of the 80s ford's in blue and red.
Very disappointing from AP who blamed it on harsh acid based brake cleaner ( which i never use) |

Very disappointing from AP who blamed it on harsh acid based brake cleaner ( which i never use) With this caliper i had enough of cleaning dust of it and i used to aggressive 2" pad on my polisher almost removing lettering and it faded red paint. Yes had some brake fluid streak but easy cleaned it with polisher. What i did when painting "apracing" word i used Upol blend and noticed red paint back to shine ( for 2nd coat i accidently used brake cleaner:facepalm: -its on first picture-almost removing fresh white paint) Later on i washed my wheels and calipers and shine is still there, not sure its permanent but looks like it is. I used iron out a lot in the past ,no harm for calipers but noticed it faded my anodised bells ( on picture have another set of brand new fitted ) |
