V2 STI RA & V3 STI V Ltd wagon

Hi,

I'm new on here but active on another Subaru forum but thought I would introduce myself and the two Impreza's I currently own.

After a while away from owning Subaru's I came back around 3 years ago and bought a WRX bug wagon for daily duties. Since then I've bought these two below after coming from R32 GTR ownership.

MY96 STI RA- Mostly stock bar the wheels and Grp A replica exhaust (now running a low level spoiler)

MY97 V3 STI V Ltd wagon- Stock, bar the wheels. (Car currently for sale)

Lovely, liking the RA, always been a fan of the early cars looks.

How do the subaru's compare to your R32 GTR?

Thanks, yeah the classics do look good!

I replied earlier but doesn't look to have worked.

Good question about the comparison, my GTR was effectively a stage 1, equal length frontpipes, exhaust, filters & boost restrictor removal (1 bar) so should have been around 330-350bhp. Driving the Skyline was more rwd bias, moves around a lot and more difficult to extract all the performance on the road (not that I drove it that quick).

I would say from 50mph upwards the Skyline would start to disappear in front quite quickly, above 5krpm it just opened up to another level but overall experience of driving I have to say I absolutely love my RA, I think its the best and most fun car I have owned, a lot easier to extract performance out of, I really do laugh to myself every time I drive it! It's one car I've absolutely fallen for.

Love the RA like you I came from owning skylines and silvias and I also picked up a V2 and I love it to bits

Anymore pics of both cars ?? My mates looking for a wagon could you PM me some details and price and I'll forward it onto him

The V2 RA is something else, they really take you back to how fun motoring should be but without having to do (relatively) crazy speeds compared with some cars nowadays!

Pics of the RA now with the low level spoiler

I will pm you some details, the wagon is a stunning car, you would struggle to find one in good original condition now like this.

You have a pm. I also tried posting some more pics but they need verification by mods first?

Cheers

Photo's don't do the colour justice, when the sun is out it really looks awesome in the 53c blue!
