I've only seen afew of these to be honest and most have been blue. Not that keen. Have to say though yours has changed my mind, looks stunning in the white....and with the mods you've done. Keep this thread going buddy

Lovely looking car mate much better looking than a hatch IMO, but for me the PRO R sticker is a bit ****e looking.

Lovely car. Would the black bit above the rear numberplate look better white you think?

Thanks, I think I'm agreed on the badge too.

Nice

So today I've ordered a nice intercooler guard and some Rally-Tech engine bolts, just need to wait for them to come from the USA and Malaysia respectively.

This morning I have fitted a K&N performance panel filter and my next purchase will probably be a strut tower brace. I want it preferably in black / carbon though can be just silver (No other colours). Any suggestions?

Perrin do a nice crackle black one.

I've seen that after doing some trawling this morning. About £200 landed for the Perrin version and there is also an STi 20th anniversary one but that's about £300 landed.

Does anyone know of any UK stockists?

Intercooler Guard???

That will restricked air flow...
next time you have a tennis racket in the car.. stick it out your window when you drive and see what happens ;)

It will, though on the guidance of respected tuners it will not make a noticeable difference. Besides, it's not adding drag like the tennis racket!

The longer term the plan is to either get the Mishimoto upgraded top mount in black and an STi stencil or go Perrin FMIC.

Looking Good.............:thumb:

respected tuners?

when you use that term are you referring to scoobyclinic?

I have not used them though would not be adverse to using them.

So managed to give her a wash / polish / wax today and take a few pictures. Since my last update I have colour coded the strip above the rear number plate, fitted carbon Subaru emblems front and rear, fitted a strut tower brace and slam panel.

My intercooler cover from the USA has not turned up after nearly 4 weeks so I have cancelled the order and bought an STi template to paint it myself. I have bought a personalised WRX plate and am waiting for the paperwork from the DVLA.

I also test fitted the HT Autos rear diffuser that I bought though I'm not to keen on the amount of space around the tailpipes. Does it look better off or on and how do you think it would be with bigger tail pipes? Thoughts please.

sunny1989 24 August 2017 05:13 PM

Personally I think it looks better without the rear diffuser, it seems like one of these parts thats often just added for the sake of it. Doesn't really bring anything to the rear end visually and makes it look a bit cluttered in my opinion.

Love the car though, i'm not a fan of this body shape but yours looks great!! The wheels sit perfectly and the white body with dark accents looks bang on.

tommyjdm 24 August 2017 05:49 PM

If you sell the diffuser give me a shout. Will look epic with my Invidia N1. Definitely needs bigger pipes!

Don Clark 24 August 2017 06:59 PM

Although I had the original HT Autos diffuser, was never keen on the full width one above.

Decided on a Liberal one instead.........

PT82 24 August 2017 08:16 PM

Car looking well mate. Just loose the diffuser altogether imo!

8ulldog 25 August 2017 06:10 PM

Thanks guys. I think if I was to keep the diffuser I would have to go bigger pipes and not sure I'm that bothered to be honest.

Feel free to make an offer Tommy.
