Audi TT 225 Quattro
 

Looking to possibly get one of these drive it for a bit and then break it out here in Croatia as the engines and gearbox are popular and in demand... I could sell them for what the car costs me in the UK provided I stay under the £2k mark and everything else is profit, wheels, brakes and interior would leave me about £500 up before I got to the shell and bits and bobs.

That said I'm not so much doing it for the money (although it's nice to make a small profit) as to own one and then not have to drive it back to the UK... there's a few other cars I can do the same with like Honda Type R or Golf Mk 4/5 Gti's and diesels but I fancy trying the Audi TT first as I've always liked them and came close to buying a 3.2 before I got my 1st Subaru.

So any info on the engines and chassis, good and bad points would be appreciated.

And yes I know about the hairdresser / faggot image but I don't care.
