Fitness trackers

Does anyone use a Fitbit blaze as im thinking of getting one to track my gym work.. i currently use my samsung gear neo but i dont thi k its very good as you have to start each workout seperately and i constatly forget to stol it or even start it so its really not a good help.

I have read that the blaze just automatically detect which cardio macbine you are on? Doea anyone have any real world experience of the blaze purely in a gym enviroment.

I mainly use the rower the bike and the revolving stair climber. Plus it would be nice to track my sit ups and the ocasional weights :)

Doubt it but we will see. I had the gear neo and compared to the gym machine calories and it was mlles out as it doesn't allow for me gunning it where the machine does but the watch iallows heart rate.

I stepped off a machine with a 116 heart rate and I consider that pretty low.

Hi,
I have been using a Fitbit Blaze since January and I am very impressed with the results it gives.
After a March update - it monitors your whole sleep pattern and gives you a good indication of your heart health (from heart rate changes during exercise, resting rate and how your heart rate goes back to normal after exercise).
I link mine to Iphone when going out for a walk or run and it then displays map of route taken and stats after the event.
Interesting to compare calories used on treadmill exercise displayed on Fitbit vs the treadmill.
Fitbit knows your age, gender, heart rate and weight (you input that weekly and it tracks weight loss) - so seems to calculate calories burnt different to the treadmill.
You can challenge other users - but I have not done that yet.
Cheers
Steve
