Hawkeye Flat Key Battery

Hello!

So I picked her up a few months ago now, came with 2 keys, but only one working..

Thought was just a dead battery. Have replaced the battery and its not playing ball so guess needs to be reprogrammed with the pin in the alarm pad.. according to the manual it has to be something like: *pin *91 *2 but i didn't get the pin when I got the car (didnt even know the pad was there till i went looking for left over change :lol1:)

Is there any other way of getting this done without the pin or is it a trip to the dealer :(

Cheers.

Oh.. and the battery in the main is running out, read changing it can lose the config too so want to get this up and running before hand

Lock and unlock the car with the working fob then type *17856*91*2# into the key pad you will then get a beep then push the button on one blip it should beep then push the other blip again it should beep...all done.
if the fob doesn't beep and it has a new battery fitted then the circuit board in the key is no good, they are about £40 from the dealer
