Apple Worldwide Developer Conference.

Starting now. Tune in on www.apple.com

I'll try to do a live commentary 👍

MacOS High Sierra will support my 2010 MacBook, that's amazed even me.

JackClark 05 June 2017 08:26 PM

iMac Pro. Want
HomePod. Want

Tidgy 05 June 2017 09:29 PM

lmao, anything new or just same old crap?

JackClark 06 June 2017 08:42 AM

Tons this time. HomePod looks very nice for the price, like a mix between Sonos and Amazon Echo for £300.

iMac Pro, if I had £6,000 lying around it's a stunner.

Bigger iPads!

iOS turned up to 11

Here's a list

WatchOS 4
Music revamp for Apple Watch
MacOS High Sierra
APFS for Mac
iMac updates
Macbook Pro updates
iMac Pro tease
Metal 2 developer kit
VR support for Mac
iOS 11
Airplay 2
App Store redesign
Do Not Disturb mode for Carplay
New iOS Maps features
Siri revamp
Control Center redesign
Apple Pay P2P transactions
New 10.5" iPad Pro
Affinity photos now available on iPad for $19.99
HomePod

Tidgy 06 June 2017 12:48 PM

lmao, you'd buy apple y fronts if they did em and were priced at £1000

Probably 15 hundred quid

On account the *New* technology

ALi-B 06 June 2017 02:38 PM

Price doesn't bother me; On contract, due for upgrade.

Only thing that could sway me is a genuinely compact smartphone that's ergonomically designed for one handed use. None exist (that are any good).

JackClark 06 June 2017 04:11 PM

Nothing announced, the 7 is a stunner. But I'd wait if you can.

dpb 06 June 2017 04:47 PM

7 is same as 6 so essentially one handed use unless youre a Donald trump clone ..

admittedly its a pain to have reach top left hand corner to go backwards

Lightly double tap the home button; makes it easier reach.

Pain the arse though; safari should really have the address bar the bottom.

The other massive kick in the butt for Android was adoption of the latest version. iPhone developers get to use the latest OS features on over 70% possibly 90% of Apple devices, Android 7%, no wonder they don't bother.
