Lowering springs
Is it best to run without bump stops when lowered or smaller ones
|
You can shorten the oem stops. Or, use shorter, stiffer stops.
But, if the lowering springs are too low, to begin with: handling will be worse and you have no compression travel left in the strut. So, changing, or shortening the bump stop will only make the ride a bit more tolerable. Don't run without bump stops. You need to slow down the, now limited, compression travel, before the top spring perch contacts the damper body - that contact is designed to stop the strut bottoming out. |
Hi cheers for that front I have lowered by 28mm and rear 30mm I beat buy some bumps stops as one is good and the other side is well not much lol cheers
