Need to know if this can be run on a 1994 Subaru wrx with a fmic dv and td05 turbo would I need anything else |
You need to contact Mines with the serial number and they can tell you what has been programmed to it. Usually remove speed limiter, raise rev limit etc. They will also be designed for 100+ ron fuel.
Rather than trying match parts to a generic flashed ecu, why don't you simply get an ecu mapped to the parts that you have? |

iirc 7K is an sti v2 ecu which has a higher red line than a wrx one because of forged internals.
The mines chips normally have a pre-programmed map which raises boost but it also removes the knock sensor so it can be quite dangerous. Bottom line it will fit and will make it go faster but may also make it go bang |
It'll definitely be mapped for a TMIC as well. Wouldn't be installing that in your car if I were you.

Stay well clear, mines is a very aggressive map.
|
lots of timing and mapped for japanese fuel = bye bye engine
|
it,ll probably run ok on vpower but most of the jap maps are ****e- flat as a tit low down with all the power at the top end--be better off with a cheap mappable ecu- with a bit of time spent it will be smoother and faster right the way to the redline
