It's time anyone in the UK preaching hate and supporting atrocities like this are rounded up under the prevention of terrorism act and held for being a threat to national security.

However, you can't help but cringe at the hypocrisy of Mr Jeremy Corbyn, only a few days ago he flatly refused to condemn the IRA for the bombing of innocent civilians. Yet a few hours ago....

Mr Corbyn said in a statement:

Corbyn the hypocritical b4stard is an IRA sympathiser so to come out and give his sympathy to those involved in this tragic incident is a joke. What about those murdered by the IRA?!

I hope a lot more is made about his links to the IRA.

So do I - stupid b@stard, and his mate McDonnell

Killing kids - you can't get much lower than that. B,astards, the lot of them. Radio 5 is my default news source but they do tend to milk a story like this. 24/7 coverage and seem to delight in pulling in psychologists, trauma specialists and giving ever more gloomy comments on how this will damage the future of the kids, their parents and everyone else on the fringes. Of course families will be traumatised, who wouldn't be, but I don't think the media intrusion helps.

I tend to to come from the s,hit happens philosophy and really don't always trust the psychologists.

God bless the heartbroken families.

Agree totally.

Internment?

Matty81 23 May 2017 03:41 PM

Same thing with the o2 arena in London. Hi security to get into the arenas, but hardly anything around the outside of it. Absolutely disgusting thing to happen to a group of children and adults.

Until the next time, which will be soon I'd imagine. I love the way the 'hate and division' speech is always about doing **** all.
The country is divided. Britains first' support will rise over the next few weeks as the hippies post more 'let's all hug each other' bull****. And so, as I've been preaching for months the country will become more divided.
I know it's madness, but shouldn't we actually do SOMETHING?
How about starting with those 'known to police'?.
How about releasing the names and address' of those who are a 'potential threat' to our kids and loved ones and let the community keep a close eye on the wankers. Police surveillance obviously isn't enough. Or would this infringe on their 'human rights' ffs.
Lets get together in hating these ***** rather than pretending it isn't going to happen again and again.

SouthWalesSam 23 May 2017 05:40 PM

My commiserations and deepest sympathy to all who suffered loss and pain because of this mindless act of barbarism in Manchester last night.

Petem95 23 May 2017 05:41 PM

Absolutely shocking, and also quite a worrying tactic from the bomber.

With such high security getting into events like this now, they've avoided that by doing the suicide bombing walking into the crowds flooding from the arena.

Pretty hard to avoid that sort of thing as you could have fairly dense crowds of people leaving lots of things like football matches, and anyone can just walk into those crowds unchecked.

"Police surveillance obviously isn't enough". Are you some sort of surveillance expert? You will always get the odd one slip through the net, regardless. So many plots are foiled that we never hear about.

Also, where do you draw the line with a 'potential threat'? If I watch an ISIS video in the name of research (as many innocent people do), does that make me a threat? People shouldn't know about potential threats because people like you can't handle that information. Some things are kept behind closed doors for a reason. Oh, and just dishing out names of 'potential threats' would also compromise other operations. But hey, you're the armchair expert.

neil-h 23 May 2017 06:07 PM

**** sake, you lot couldn't even let it go for one day could you. 22 dead, mostly from the younger end of society and yet you're still bickering over who's philosophy is right or wrong. There's a time and a place and today isn't that time. :brickwall

As I understand it there are currently 2,000 people being watched as they are considered a threat. That's too many and yes at that extent some will 'slip through'
The police have decided what constitutes a threat, I'll go with them.

'People like you' ah, the old stereotyping comes out from those that hates 'racists' Pmsl.

madscoob 23 May 2017 06:28 PM

it is time to do something,
1 deport to a country that suits thier views all radicals forceably,
2 the aim it to disrupt our way of life, fine distrupt thiers, close all places of meeting or worship until such times as they start grassing each other up,
which brings another question why dont they grass each other up ?
the answer lies deep in beliefs and hatred of the system, the same question a little different,
would you grass up a friend who you know is a member of combat 18 ?
answer probably not for 2 reasons
1 you would assume he/she is allready known to police
2 for fear of retribution
and that is i think why they walk freely in the community they live in.
lastly the goverment needs to wake up and smell the coffee FORCED SOCIAL INTERGRATION IS NOT AND WILL NOT WORK IN THIS COUNTRY,

Could we just hold the hate, anger and recriminations for a day please.

I felt sick when I heard the news this morning. Heartfelt thoughts to all the innocent people caught up in this horrible incident.

If he/she was a threat to innocent people I would, as I'm sure just about 99.9% of the population would.

Yes why not. This **** was known to the police and secret service. Get them off the streets, imprisoned and subsequently deported after taking a full identification analysis. Dna, finger prints and distinguishing marks etc. Or we bring back the death sentence

Police state; the murderers win. Death sentence for suicide murderers? Reintroduce barbaric punishment? Where would you deport people born in this country? Like others you're talking about unethical, impractical, ill-considered 'solutions' to what is, I'm afraid, a seemingly unsolvable problem. I went through this myself (I'm sure people will attest to the anger and hate I harboured) and all it produced was more anger and more hate and so on and so forth. You can't kill an idea, but you can choose unity over division and inclusion over exclusion. The methods you describe, Andy, play directly in to hands of the enemy. Love conquers.

An0n0m0us 23 May 2017 10:12 PM

Detaining under the prevention of terrorism act those who pose a direct threat to society is not a police state, it is taking action and doing something to protect against more innocent lives being lost.

Those who preach hate and acts of murder have no place in society and are committing a criminal offence just the same as anyone who threatens to murder others. Time to deal with them and take the off the streets.

njkmrs 23 May 2017 10:16 PM

There is a Muslim guy who has just spoken out on Facebook.
He has said it like it is. Get rid of these people and their families .
Sorry no link but sure someone will post it.
Applause to this guy for standing up and taking a firm stance against these terrorists in his views on what should be done.
Well done that man.
Abdul Sattar Khan I believes he is called.
We need more Muslims like him joining us in the fight against the scum.
