2.1 stroker in WRX

Hello everyone.
I am new user and the new owner of Subaru Impreza WRX from 2005.
Now it is running about 270-280 BHP.
It has:
3 inch exhaust (decat)
k&n filter and induction
3 port boosted solenoid
and was remaped.
Now I have problem with bottom end failure and I will rebuilt my engine.
Is 2.1 stroker parts good idea to put instead stock parts?
The kit consist of: EJ25 Hardened 79mm Crankshaft & ACL Race Series Bearings, Mahle 2618 Forged Stroker Pistons, Manley Forged H Beam Connecting Rods, ARP 11mm Head Stud Kit, A Choice Of Cosworth Head Gaskets.

I want only upgrade my engine to stroker and leave the rest stock parts (gearbox, clutch, turbo)
Can someone tell me something about this project?

Seems very poor value for money if you are leaving the stock TD04 turbo on. You're paying for an engine capable of well over 350+ bhp safely, and using a turbo that runs out of puff before 300bhp....

I just want to fix my car first but later I will think about new turbo, injectors etc.

Go for it build the 2.1 and upgrade other bits later, at least you will have a pretty much bulletproof engine for as long as u own the car.

Are Mahle 4032 a better and cheaper option than the 2618's for the OP?
