Black Circles - Any Good?

Hi all,

As per title really, I need 4 tyres and they are coming in at £299 delivered. Bridgestone Potenza RE070 225 / 45 R17 90W
Mail order only, doesn't include fitting.

£18 cheaper than the other well known tyre people for mail order delivered.

Anyone had any good or bad experiences with Black Circles?

Thank you in advance,

Matt

Had my Pilot Sport 4s delivered earlier than expected by them. Would happily order from them every time, price depending :thumb:

camskill is another one to try

I have used black circles and camskill in the past with no problems from either.

I usual use them to get a price and get my local garage to match them :)

Try openeo and tyre leader for quotes too, but all are wholesalers

I used Blackcircles just last week, great service and great price. The tyres were fitted for me locally. I would certainly use them again.

I've used them and MyTyres and Camskills. No real difference in service. Just compare them all for prices. Worth trying to price match at your local tyre fitters also.

Thanks peeps!

Used tyre leader a few times and had no bother at all.

And the winner is (so far) Black Circles at £299 for a set of 4 delivered.

I'm still going to shop around for a bit.

event tyres or blackcircles both seem good , don't know if event tyres cover your area

£295.60p tyreleader if you are really tight for money.

Thanks johned, strange though, they show at £73.90 each, then further up the page they are £101.17 each, why would they have the same tyres at two different prices?

Doesn't that price include fitting too?

Hawkeye D 19 May 2017 02:10 PM

Nope, just mail order / delivery to the door. I think it was £345 all in including fitting at a nominated place near me.

Tyres on the Drive are pretty good as well these days

Nominated? I had a choice of at least eight places within a few miles of me. Ended up using a one man band place who did a great job, managed to get the weights all the inside of the rim so the outside was clear and looked somewhat better.
Don't you get any choice whatsoever?

Hawkeye D 20 May 2017 07:34 AM

Sorry, I meant nominated by me.

what about trying ASDA as they sell tyres then you go to the local garages etc to have them fitted...worth a shot

how much do people charge to fit tyres then ???

I got quoted £72 inc VAT at one place! Nearly fell off my chair lol.

To be honest, I can get them fitted at work, just trying to pin a tech down sometimes isn't easy. Will only cost me a drink.

i must admit I always use F1 autocentres and the guys in Swindon where I go take very good care of the alloys
