Advice for alarm system

Hi, I have recently purchased a 2002 Subaru Impreza non turbo. I am going to use this car for the local autotests in my area.
Is it possible to remove the standard alarm/emobiliser system so i do not have to lock and unlock the car? Ideally I would like to be able to start from a switch and button. It would be a massive pain to have to lock and unlock the car when on track if i stalled it. Is there anyone that would be able to give me some of their time which would be highly appreciated.

Thank You, Duncan.

You shouldn't need to lock/unlock to restart the car, not too sure which alarm system the non turbo came with but the standard sigma immobiliser fitted to most UK turbos shouldn't kick in till the ignition has been switched off for about 30 seconds, even then you just have to turn the ignition on and then press the alarm remote to switch off the immobiliser.

Is it straight forward to remove the system?

very easy to bypass...just need to cut and join 4 wires to bypass fuel and ignition system.
