Any Geocachers in...?

Recently got into doing this and just wondered if anyone else partakes?

I do occasionally, we have a cache up at the pony field. Gets quite regular finds :)

Used to do it loads (1200+ finds), but I haven't been out caching in a couple of years now.

I have a couple of puzzle caches hidden near where I live in Kent, GC2XFGX and GC13C6.

I do it now and again. When away for the weekend tend to check what's local and drag the kids along.

Have done with the kids to keep them occupied on days when there was nothing else planned. I dont tell them how I know where the caches are, we just go, and find stuff.

Ive done it with the kid's off and on for a couple of years.

I fancied taking a travel bug to OZ and leaving it there last time i went, but

never managed to get the two to work out

Geo based, but I got in to Ingress. Had nice two days walk around a country park near Northampton at the weekend because of it, doing missions, collecting uniques, doing a badge and getting more AP. You could 'abuse' your badge to play if you really wanted :)

Yep - my daughter (13) loves it - she has a etrex gps and we drag the whole family along - had some good finds - some are really tricky..... good fun though in the summer.

My mate got me interested in it from work and we been out on a few jaunts in he country over the past few weeks. We usually mountain bike and have seen some beautiful scenery that you would never have seen. Its surprising just how many cycle routes and public footpaths there area.

Great for the kids too - gets them out and about and gives them some added interest.

Going out tomorrow canoeing along a stretch of river to find a few that you can only get to on the river.
