hawkeye stop lamps
guys i just changed a stop/tail lamp on my car and noticed there is two stop/tail lamp bulbs on each side but only the outer stop lamp operates, what is the purpose of the inner? should they work too? im confused
cheers :wonder: |
Rear Fog light ??
Check your owners manual for what bulbs are fitted............. |
Nothing in the manual and its not the fog either, hoping to see another hawk and check their lights lol
|
Is it the parking lights or do they operate through the sidelights? Im guessing the side light and brake light is a dual fillement bulb?
|
When you have your lights on all 4 will illuminate and when you brake the outer ones get brighterhttps://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...bf02c05cf4.jpgLights on

yes thats it smithys sti, thanks for checking that mate, there is 4 side lights on, but only outer two stop lamps operate
what i dont get is the inner ones are stop and tail lights i.e duel filament but why dont they illumanate with other stop lamps? i was thinking they are possibly like the bmw lights that only operate under heavy/emergency braking, its a weird one lol... |
