NRG Short hub https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...321d617945.jpg NRG snap off boss Hello all I am currently looking into fitting a snap off steering wheel kit on my hawk sti, thinking of a NRG kit. Now it is my understanding as well that as the snap off kit i will also need a steering wheel boss adapter for the snap off kit to bolt onto. Ideally i would like a short hub type as i'd prefer to keep from moving the wheel to far back. Any recommendations for a short hub boss adapter. Thanks |
HKB os-238 model for the GDB works very well i think.

Works bell are very good, I went for a snap off with a slim body.
Excellent bit of kit with zero play but a word of warning, you will feel a lot closer to the wheel and for me was too uncomfortable. I was using a nardi wheel that was almost flat with a small dish. Sold it and went back to a standard wheel after a few months. Glad I bought the works bell as I pretty much got my money back. :thumb: Try a company called playskool ;) http://www.plays-kool.co.uk/acatalog/WorksBell.html Siv :thumb: |
Thanks mate i'll have a look.

hawk sti will need the squib left on so it can tell steering wheel postsion or it will effect the dccd
from memory I used a 2008 NRG hub Bose to get around this problem as it leaves room for a squib behind it |
Beg short hub
Hi I see you mentioned the nrg short hub for 2008 and I was wondering if this short hub would fit my 2002 bugeye - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182485388218 would it fit the spline and clock spring? Just seems so much easier and less hassle than the the one advertised for the 2002.
thanks |

I have the HKB boss/NRG GEN 2.5/flat wheel combo. Plus the NRG locking cover.
Works a treat. Love it. |
