I've just ordered an AlClear microfibre wheel wash mitt for behind the spokes, and a small straight woolie brush for the barrels. I will have to rotate the front wheels a quarter turn to get behind the spokes which at the time are over the calliper - no big deal. I was going to go for the Dodo Juice Captain Crevice mitt, but the reviews were surprisingly shocking for a Dodo Juice product.
I always blow the wheels, lug nut holes and discs with my Lidl Parkside hoover - a pretty good blower. This stops the rusty puddle forming in the barrel by the time you get to the end of your road, and works well to get water out from behind wingmirror glass.
Also Adams tyre and rubber cleaner (not a dressing) looks decent for cleaning the tyre walls, so I've ordered a bottle of that, along with a cheapie trye brush.

The wheels also come off three or four times a year for full deep clean. I add to the front of the wheel, back of the spokes, the barrels and the callipers a few coats of Poorboys wheel sealant, and a few coats of Collinite 915 - seriously good stuff that is.
I'm not one for tyre shines as they always kill the suds in my bucket, can go brown etc, so I personally stay away from tyre dressings....they do also attract dirt in my experiences. I've gone for the Adams cleaner to simply clean the tyre walls and dry them off with a microfibre towel. That's plenty for me.
I'm on standard 2007 Spec D silver 17" Enkeis, with gold Brembo's, and Bridgestone Potenza RE070 all round.
