Fast Road Setup V4 STI Type R

Hi All,

Im looking for a Fastroad setup for my V4 type r.

So basically upgraded pads/discs, braided lines and 5.1 dot fluid.

I was thinking of running an oem pad on the rear, an upgraded pad on the front.

I haven't a huge budget for this, I'm after the best value for money.

Is there any particular discs to avoid? I don't want to get some cheap set and warp them after a few heat cycles.

Likewise what front pads would you recommend?

personaly i'd not half measure it, save a bit and put on a set of D2 6 pots or if you can stretch a set of AP's

AS performance is your port of call for brakes and pads as well as many other things. A 'good' pad and disc is all you need for a fast road car.

I wont be upgrading calipers.

I want pads that can be bed in fairly quickly also

I've been on ebay looking for discs, but there doesn't seem to be many named brands.

Is the standard rear pad and upgraded front a done thing or do people generally use upgraded pads all round
