I'll let Keith confirm the full spec, but suffice to say (and I think the pictures back this up), this is one cared for and well modded Scoob. http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/awink.gifhttp://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/wink2.gif http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/cool6.gifhttp://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/glasses.gif

Andy

ScoobyK 13 June 2002 12:35 AM

Andy, I'm with you, never really liked wagons but Keith's is a little different....and that's before he's finished modding. This is a man with taste,.... in a very Keith sort of a way !! ;) ;)

Nathan L 13 June 2002 12:37 AM

I may be a bit biased but this Scoob looked good in the flesh before the new wheels went on.

Judging by the pictures its now awesome.:D

I note that ScoobyK is also in the shot, some way off in the lead as usual;):D

Nathan..

P.S.See you in two weeks..

ScoobyK 13 June 2002 12:43 AM

Yeah, c u soon m8, ENJOY http://www.theunholytrinity.org/crac...grinbandit.gif

DominicA 13 June 2002 08:26 AM

VERY NICE!!

BlackStar 13 June 2002 08:59 AM

That looks sooooo clean! Gotta love those wagons http://www.impreza-gt-club.ch/forum/icon_smile.gif

How about loosing those rails next?

Dougster 13 June 2002 04:46 PM

How about mine?

Dougster 13 June 2002 04:50 PM

Will post more after Saturday's RR meet at Star.

Since that pic. I have changed the eibachs for H&Rs + MRT solid drop-links and had the windows tinted 20% all round.

fdpxfunix 13 June 2002 06:24 PM

Keith

Very nice.

Where did you get the fog lamp covers from? and what's the rough cost including painting?

I've been thinking about putting some on for ages.

Catch you around.

Jason.

Krud 13 June 2002 06:34 PM

Thanks for the comments so far guys.

Glenn - thanks for the title, mate, but I'm sure there are others out there just as good and better.

Blackstar - interesting idea, that. I did consider having them colour coded when I had the rest of the black stuff done - but was told by the dealer it would be too much. Removal was not considered at the time. Need to see a wagon without them, I think.

Dougster - am planning on having Eibachs fitted on my next trip up north. Why you taking them off?

Krud 13 June 2002 07:02 PM

Jason

Thanks mate.

Covers from DR Motorsport - £90 including painting in colour of your choice. Needs some slight hacking to spoiler at bottom edge of light cover to accomodate - not difficult.

Scaramanga 13 June 2002 07:18 PM

Is someone going to post a pic of Nito's monster up?

Last time I saw it, it was so low you could mow the lawn with it........

Sounded the mutts as well ;)

Simon

Dougster 13 June 2002 07:43 PM

Krud,

Only took them off to go that bit lower with H&Rs.

Still got the eibachs for sale at £100.

Can tell a difference in handling but I had solid MRT drop-links fitted at the same time so obviously everything would be that bit stiffer.

@Krud

Well, quit hard to find a piccy, that comes your wagon even close to its beauty http://www.impreza-wrx-club.de/forum/icon_smile_big.gif but maybe this will give you an idea how it could look like without those rails
http://www.subaruclub.ch/members/jfr...auchiger04.jpg

Maybe some of those photoshop-gurus in here can do something with your Scooby/Pics above!?

Krud 14 June 2002 07:03 PM

Thanks Blackstar. Is that your wagon? I would like to see a front shot of that spoiler!!! Those look like Kosei Sniper wheels which is what I was originally after - lovely to see a picture!

Markus - thanks for the comments - your wagon appears in nearly every thread these days, you tart!

Tim - welcome and look forward to some piccies.

Scoty, very clean and tidy...Keith, don't those tints look good ;)

G

Krud 16 June 2002 08:20 PM

G - Tints - what tints?

BlackStar 16 June 2002 09:57 PM

Hi Krud

No, not mine. Its owned by someone of the Subaruclub here in Switzerland. And yes, those are the Sniper.

Here's a front few:
http://www.subaruclub.ch/members/jfr...auchiger03.jpg

Actually not really my kind of taste... I will post pics of my black wagon someday when some more mods are done (and when I get a digicam http://www.impreza-gt-club.ch/forum/icon_smile_wink.gif). So stay tuned (and watch out Marcus, you're not the only one riding a Blackbeast http://www.impreza-wrx-club.de/forum/icon_smile_big.gif)

Thanks Blackstar. Bloody hell! Reminds me of the film "Jaws". If that was behind me and I was in a Mini I think I would pull over smartish!

Amanda-Jane 17 June 2002 08:24 AM

Dougsters wagon is without doubt the best looking wagon I have ever seen.

Markus 17 June 2002 10:11 AM

Krud, hmmm jaws you say, hmm, think that I might have to get one of those to go with my "shark" image ;) :D

Tim Bomford 17 June 2002 12:25 PM

Here's some shots of the wagons I've got through. Just for interest really.

The red one was my 1st Scoob and holds a special place in my heart as it was such a nice red and you can see the effects of Zymol on it. I'd have been happy with it forever if I'd never driven an STi and an EVO VI!
The silver was my 2nd wagon and was a genuine rare 280bhp model. Chassis number and everything checked out with the SIDC faq and was a lovely beast to drive.
